New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Low pressure centered near 41N
64W will move continue moving quickly NE today, pulling its
associated frontal boundary south of the area. A secondary cold
front will move south across the waters later tonight. High
pressure will build over the waters Thu, then shift south of the
area Thu night. A strong low pressure will pass north of the
waters Thu night into Fri, pulling a cold front towards the
northern zones Fri night. The front will slowly weaken and move S
into the waters Sat and Sat night, then stall along 40N Sun and
Sun night.

Gulf of Maine to the Hague Line

.TODAY...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming S to SW 5 to 15 kt.
Seas 1 to 3 ft. Chance of showers and slight chance of TSTMs
with VSBY 1 nm or less.
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Slight
chance of showers with VSBY 1 nm or less.
.THU...NE winds 5 to 15 kt, becoming S 10 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to
5 ft.
.THU NIGHT...S to SW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 5 to 9 ft.
