URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...QUICK MOVING SYSTEM CROSSES THE AREA TONIGHT AND TUESDAY
MORNING...

.A quick moving storm system will move through the forecast area
tonight into Tuesday morning, bringing ample moisture, and some
snow to parts of the area. Precipitation will begin as rain, then
change to snow late this evening and overnight in the advisory
area. Upslope enhanced snowfall is likely across the northern
Black Hills and northern foothills, with several inches of
snowfall expected. Up to a few inches of snowfall is also expected
over parts of far northeast Wyoming into Butte and Harding
Counties, especially the higher elevations. Snow will taper off
Tuesday morning as the system shifts east of the area.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO
9 AM MDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches
  are expected in most areas, especially western portions of Butte
  and Harding counties and northern Crook County. Locally higher
  amounts are possible, especially across the higher elevations.

* WHERE...In Wyoming, Western Crook County and Northeastern
  Crook County. In South Dakota, Harding and Butte.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM MDT Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions,
  including during the morning commute on Tuesday. Expect
  reduced visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means snow accumulations will
create hazardous conditions. Use caution when traveling. The
