...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN UNION COUNTY
THROUGH 430 PM MDT...

At 359 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of Grenville, or 11 miles southeast of Des Moines, moving
east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Grenville and Mount Dora.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor your preferred
media outlets and NOAA Weather Radio for additional information and
possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
northeastern New Mexico.
