...Flooding possible along The Mississippi River...
For the Mississippi River the following locations are included:
Wabasha...Winona...La Crosse...McGregor.

Runoff from melting snow is expected to cause river levels to rise
along the Upper Mississippi River into next week. The potential
exists for significant rises, which may cause flooding if conditions
come together as expected.

Mississippi River at Wabasha...The stage this morning was 10.32 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood
stage Thursday evening, and reach 13.40 feet Tuesday morning. This
would result in Minor flooding, with additional rises expected
thereafter.

Mississippi River at Winona...The stage this morning was  8.98 feet.
Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood
stage Sunday morning, and reach 14.00 feet Tuesday morning. This
would result in Minor flooding, with additional rises expected
thereafter.

Mississippi River at La Crosse...The stage this morning was  8.59
feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above
flood stage Sunday, and reach 12.50 feet Tuesday morning. This would
result in Minor flooding, with additional rises expected thereafter.

Mississippi River at McGregor...The stage this morning was 11.55
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above
flood stage Tuesday morning, and reach 16.10 feet Tuesday morning.
This would result in Minor flooding, with additional rises expected
thereafter.
