...Rises on Area Rivers and Streams This Weekend Into Next Week...

From tonight into Saturday, 1 to 2 inches of rain, with locally
higher amounts, are expected. This rain will be falling on partly
frozen or frozen soils. In addition, there will be some additional
water coming into the river systems from snow melt north of
Interstate 90. Rises are expected on area rivers and streams this
weekend into next week with the potential for some flooding.

Those with interests along rivers and streams should keep an eye on
water levels and stay tuned to the latest forecasts.
