...Rises on Area Rivers and Streams Possible Late This Week...

From Thursday night into Saturday, 1 to 2 inches of rain, with
locally higher amounts, are expected. This rain will be falling on
partly frozen or frozen soils. In addition, there will be some
additional water coming into the the river systems from snow melt
north of Interstate 90. Rises are expected on area rivers and
streams from Friday into the weekend. There could be some minor
flooding.

Those with interests along rivers and streams should keep an eye
on water levels later this the week and stay tuned to the latest
forecasts.
