...A statement concerning The Mississippi River at Lake City...Alma
Dam 4...Winona...La Crosse...Lansing...McGregor...Guttenberg Dam

Runoff from melting snow will bring some significant rises on
Upper Mississippi River next week. However, no flooding is expected
at this time at these locations.

Mississippi River at Lake City...The stage this morning was  9.50
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.40
feet Saturday morning, which is below flood stage, with additional
rises possible.

Mississippi River at Alma Dam 4...The stage this morning was  6.71
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.20
feet Saturday morning, which is below flood stage, with additional
rises possible.

Mississippi River at Winona...The stage this morning was  7.58 feet.
Flood stage is 13.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 11.50 feet
Saturday morning, which is below flood stage, with additional
rises possible.

Mississippi River at La Crosse...The stage this morning was  7.20
feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.70
feet Saturday morning, which is below flood stage,with additional
rises possible.

Mississippi River at Lansing...The stage this morning was  8.88 feet.
Flood stage is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.70 feet
Saturday morning, which is below flood stage, with additional
rises possible.

Mississippi River at McGregor...The stage this morning was 11.00
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 13.70
feet Saturday morning, which is below flood stage, with additional
rises possible.

Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10...The stage this morning was
10.16 feet. Flood stage is 15.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach
13.00 feet Saturday morning, which is below flood stage, with
additional rises possible.
