This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Gusty east or northeast winds will continue along with high
waves. Gale Warnings and Small Craft Advisories are in effect into
this evening. The wind will become northerly this afternoon and
decrease through the evening. See the Nearshore Marine Forecast
and Marine Weather Message for more details on the wind and waves.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Westerly winds will ramp up again Thursday creating hazardous
conditions, especially for smaller vessels. The wind will
increase further Thursday night into Friday veering to northwest
Friday night. Winds will then decrease through the day Saturday.
An extended period of hazardous conditions are expected Thursday
into Saturday morning and Small Craft Advisories will be needed.
There is a 20 to 40 percent chance for gales around 35 knots
Friday afternoon and evening. See the Nearshore Marine Forecast
for more details on wind speed and waves.
