...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Little Sioux River near Milford affecting Dickinson County.

  Little Sioux River At Linn Grove affecting O`Brien, Buena Vista,
  Clay and Cherokee Counties.

  Little Sioux River above Spencer / Highway 18 affecting Clay
  County.

  Little Sioux River at Cherokee affecting Cherokee County.

  Little Sioux River at Spencer affecting Clay County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River near Milford.

* WHEN...Until Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, significant amounts of pasture and other
  farm lands begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:00 AM CDT Sunday was 13.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to continue to fall through
    at least the first half of Monday. Additional rises are
    possible thereafter dependent on rainfall later Monday, which
    is not factored into the current forecast.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, the city park in Sioux Rapids is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 AM CDT Sunday was 19.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to continue to fall through
    at least the first half of Monday. Additional rises are
    possible thereafter dependent on rainfall later Monday, which
    is not factored into the current forecast.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

  south bank of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 AM CDT Sunday was 18.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.3
    feet this afternoon or evening before beginning to fall
    through at least the first half of Monday. Additional rises
    are possible thereafter dependent on rainfall later Monday,
    which is not factored into the current forecast.

  areas begins.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 AM CDT Sunday was 12.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to continue to fall through
    at least the first half of Monday. Additional rises are
    possible thereafter dependent on rainfall later Monday, which
    is not factored into the current forecast.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
