FOR NORTHERN HAYWOOD COUNTY...

At 133 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of
Waynesville, or near Smoky Mountains-Cataloochee, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
         damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Smoky Mountains-Cataloochee, Cove Creek, Fines Creek, Smoky
Mountains-Balsam Mountain, Canton, Lake Junaluska, and Smoky
Mountains-Big Creek.
