.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and gusty winds accompany a passing cold front
this evening, with cooler temperatures set for tonight and
Thursday. Gust factor decreases after midnight, with a breeze
continuing overnight through Thursday. Mixing is expected to be
deep Thursday, but winds aloft will be lighter than earlier in
the week. So, while RH values fall well into the 20s and teens,
winds and high temps won`t be as big a factor. Do expect a
seabreeze to swap wind directions along the immediate coast and
a bit into the interior past noontime. In addition, this would
lower temperatures, aiding in some RH recovery. Warming trend
goes into the weekend, with dry weather continuing. Winds look
to remain 15 to 20 mph during the afternoons. Next chance for
precipitation looks to be late weekend into early next week.
