...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN PULASKI AND WESTERN
ROCKCASTLE COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM EDT...

At 705 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Liberty, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Vernon, Boone, Sand Springs, Hiatt, Gum Sulphur, Bandy,
Woodstock, Roundstone, Spiro, Wabp, Lake Linville, Hansford, Renfro
Valley, Willailla, Bee Lick, Snider, Wellhope, Conway, Wildie, and
Burr.

THIS INCLUDES Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile
markers 57 and 72.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
