...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL CRAVEN...SOUTHERN
BEAUFORT AND SOUTHWESTERN PAMLICO COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM EDT...

At 802 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fairfield Harbour, or near James City, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
New Bern, James City, Olympia, Grantsboro, Fairfield Harbour,
Minnesott Beach Ferry, Bayboro, Alliance, Arapahoe, Minnesott Beach,
and Stonewall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
