THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
There is a High Risk of rip currents, as well as rough surf,
forecast for the Treasure Coast beaches today. Entering the water
is strongly discouraged in this area.

A Moderate Risk of rip currents is forecast for the Brevard and
Volusia County beaches. Remember, always swim near a lifeguard.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
Poor boating conditions will improve into the afternoon, as west
to northwesterly winds weaken. Small craft should exercise caution
over the Volusia and Brevard county waters for northwest winds
around 15 knots and seas up to 4 to 6 feet through this afternoon.
Small craft should also exercise caution near inlets along the
Treasure Coast today, due to a long period swell.

.FIRE WEATHER IMPACT...
Near-Red Flag conditions are forecast today, especially north and
west of I-4 where winds will approach 15 mph from the west. Wind
gusts of 20 to 25 mph are possible. Minimum relative humidity
values will fall to around 30 to 35 percent from Brevard and
Osceola Counties northward and 25 to 30 percent for the Treasure
Coast and Okeechobee County. These conditions will lead to
very sensitive fire weather today. Afternoon dispersions will be
very good to excellent, so control issues are likely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.
At least a moderate risk of rip currents will continue through late
this week.

Sensitive fire weather conditions are forecast to continue into
next week, as dry air lingers across the state.
