more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure in the wake of a cold front dominates
the basin with decaying W-NW swell north of the Yucatan Channel.
Strong winds will pulse off the northwest Yucatan in the evenings
through the next several days. Otherwise, moderate to fresh
winds with slight to moderate seas can be expected through the
weekend and into early next week.
