...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 8 AM PDT
WEDNESDAY...
...GALE WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM TO NOON PDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, Rough bar conditions
  expected. For the Gale Warning, south winds 15 to 25 kt with
  gusts up to 35 kt expected.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, from 2 AM to 8 AM PDT Wednesday.
  Gale Warning, from 8 AM to noon PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...General seas 9 ft building to 9 to 10 ft
  Wednesday evening. First ebb current of 4.25 kt at 621 PM
  Tuesday. Seas 9 ft. Second ebb current of 5.19 kt at 636 AM
  Wednesday. Seas 10 to 13 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
