Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected across the region this afternoon. Any stronger storms that develop may be capable of gusty winds over 40 mph and small hail generally smaller than quarter size. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Thunderstorms are expected to develop along an inverted surface trough in east central SD late this afternoon through this evening. Some of these may be severe with large hail (1 inch) and strong winds (60 mph). .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
