Daily River And Lake Summary
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1008 AM EDT Sun Apr 22 2018

...Moderate to heavy rain Mon-Tue to produce flooding in the region...

A deep, slow-moving low pressure system will produce significant rainfall
across the CSRA and Midlands beginning late tonight and lasting through
Tuesday. Forecast 2-3 day precipitation is expected to be over 3 inches in
the Piedmont and Upstate, and 2-3 inches possible in the CSRA and Midlands.
Heaviest rains should fall in the headwaters of the Savannah, Enoree, Broad,
Saluda and Congaree Rivers, where minor to moderate flooding is expected.
Other main-stem rivers such as the Wateree, Pee Dee and Edisto will see
significant rises but are expected to crest below flood stage. Finally,
there will be smaller-scale flooding issues Monday into Tuesday in smaller
creeks and low-lying areas. For the latest forecast river stages, check
our website at www.weather.gov/cae and click on "Rivers and Lakes".
