The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20
  nm...

* Until 245 PM EDT.

* At 153 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located over A R 445, moving north at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lockwood Folly Inlet Sea Buoy, A R 445, Yaupon Beach, Cape Fear Sea
  Buoy, Caswell Beach and Oak Island.
