...Strong Thunderstorms Will Impact Portions of northeastern
McCormick and northwestern Edgefield Counties Until 545 PM EDT....

At 522 PM EDT...National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a
strong thunderstorm near the northern Edgefield and McCormick
County line. Movement was west near 15 mph.

  HAZARD...strong winds 45 to 55 mph and up to penny sized hail.

  IMPACT...expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
           light, unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to plants,
           trees and crops is possible. Damage to windshields is
           unlikely. Minor flooding will likely occur along small
           streams and in poor-drainage areas.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
McCormick and northwestern Edgefield Counties including the state
road 67 area of northeast McCormick County.

Do not attempt to drive on flooded roads.
