...INCLEMENT WEATHER EXPECTED THROUGH THIS MORNING...

An elongated surface trough near the Samoan Islands will trigger
moderate to heavy rainfall and isolated thunderstorms through this
morning. As this trough moves south, heavy moisture and thunderstorms
will also move south and away from the territory in the afternoon.

A Flash Flood Watch was issued to provide awareness and precautionary
actions should increasing rainfall trigger flash flooding through
Monday night. This expected rainfall situation can produce up to
2 to 3 inches with up to 5 inches are possible near higher terrain
though this afternoon. Residence near waterfalls and small streams
are vulnerable to flash flooding. This expected situation can
reduce driving visibility and the potential for flash flooding is
high.

Should there be cloud to ground lightning, please seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle...and exercise safety
precautions. Stay away from windows and electric appliances until
the thunderstorm is over. Please monitor local radio stations and
available television stations for additional information and
advisories from the National Weather Service and Territorial
Emergency Management Coordination Office (TEMCO).
