...THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN DEVELOPING OVER THE REGION...

At 406 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking several thunderstorms
developing in the region generally moving from east to west.

Very heavy rain, dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will
be possible with these storms through this evening.

Locations impacted include...
Fallon, Lahontan Reservoir, Fernley, Dayton, Yerington, Wabuska,
Hazen, Stillwater, Silver Springs, Fort Churchill Station, Mason,
Stagecoach, Weed Heights, Junction U.S 50 And NV 839, Junction Nv 339
And Nv 208, Junction U.S 50 And NV 116 (Stuart Rd), Schurz,
Frenchman, Alt U.S 95 At Lyon-Mineral Co Line and Us 95 At
Lyon-Churchill Co Line.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

During a thunderstorm, seek shelter inside a sturdy structure and
stay away from windows. Hikers and campers should seek shelter in a
vehicle if possible.
