This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Elevated fire weather conditions this afternoon into early
evening across the Oklahoma Panhandle as well as the northwest and
north central Texas Panhandle due to southwest winds of 15 to 20
mph with higher gusts along with minimum relative humidity values
as low as 9 percent.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Critical fire weather conditions may occur Monday across much of
the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles due to strong winds and low
relative humidity values.

Sustained southwest winds around 35 mph with higher gusts are
possible Monday afternoon into early evening across western
sections of the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles, and a Wind Advisory
may be needed for that area.

Thunderstorms will be possible late Monday afternoon and evening
across mainly the eastern one third of the Oklahoma and Texas
Panhandles. Some storms may become severe with large to very large
hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes the primary hazards.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.

Area fire managers and emergency officials should be alert for
elevated or critical fire weather conditions this afternoon and
again on Monday.
