...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL AUTAUGA...MARENGO...
CENTRAL PERRY...SOUTH CENTRAL HALE...LOWNDES...DALLAS AND
SOUTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES THROUGH 115 AM CDT...

At 1236 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Dayton to near Orrville to 11 miles
southeast of Dannelly Reservoir. Movement was east at 80 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southwestern Montgomery, Selma, Valley Grande, Marion, Linden,
Uniontown, Fort Deposit, Mosses, Hayneville, Selmont-West Selmont,
Autaugaville, White Hall, Thomaston, Gordonville, Sweet Water,
Orrville, Newbern, Myrtlewood, Lowndesboro, and Faunsdale.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
central, south central, southwestern and west central Alabama.
