Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
408 PM EDT Wed Apr 24 2024

.DISCUSSION...

A cold front will bring another round of showers, with perhaps a
few thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Wetting rainfall is
possible from the heavier showers. High pressure builds in again
for Thursday with winds becoming light.

Minimum relative humidities will range between 15 and 25 percent
on Thursday across the interior, and between 30 to 45 percent
across the Cape and islands.

.OUTLOOK...Friday through Wednesday...

High pressure keeps us dry through Saturday, with increasing
chances for light rain Saturday night into Sunday. Drier weather
then returns with increasing temperatures through Monday. More
showers are possible early next week.
