At 1235 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Branchville to near Smoaks to Lodge, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include: Saint George, Colleton, Harleyville, Reevesville, Smoaks, Lodge, Williams, Ruffin, Padgetts, Ashton, and Canadys. This warning includes the following interstates: I-26 between mile markers 171 and 184. I-95 in South Carolina between mile markers 59 and 85. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
