PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* WHERE...The Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr, or from Walnut
  Creek...to the Des Moines River.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 11.3 feet, George Flagg Parkway is closed from Park
  Ave to SW 30th St.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.8 feet and falling.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early this morning to a crest of 12.1 feet this morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage this evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

  below the Center Street dam...to Runnells.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, The bike trail is closed east of Water St.
  Water affects portions of other bike trails.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 23.6 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon to a crest of 24.1 feet this evening. It will
    then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

  and threatens residences along the river in Fort Dodge.

  - At 3:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 10.6 feet and falling.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.7
    feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    Saturday evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.5 feet.

  some rural roads flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.7 feet and falling.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0
    feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
