.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS...Winds trend down today,
although gusty northerly winds and steep seas continue through
tonight, especially downwind of Cape Mendocino. The sea state will
continue to be dominated by steep short period northerly wind waves
and a series of mid period NW swells. Wind waves will die down
Friday morning before a low pressure system approaching from the
northwest will produce unsettled conditions Friday afternoon and
Saturday.
