...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

In 1984, a very late season snow storm hit the area. Temperatures
remained near or slightly above the freezing mark during the whole
storm, but snowfall accumulations of 3 to 6 inches were common in
locations close to the Colorado border. The highest snowfall
recorded was 11 inches near Flagler Colorado.
