...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

In 1999, a line of thunderstorms across eastern Colorado progressed
into western Kansas producing strong winds and hail across the
region. Hail accrued to a depth of 6 inches in a 20 minute period
near Tribune and strong winds blew out windows in a house southeast
of Mingo.
