This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Very high to extreme grassland fire danger is likely this afternoon across
parts of central and south central Kansas, especially west of
I-135.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Very high to extreme fire danger returns Saturday and again on
Monday as gusty south winds overlap warm temperatures and low
humidity. Again, the primary area of concern is west of Interstate
135.

Severe thunderstorm chances will increase across the area on Monday
afternoon and Monday evening. A significant severe weather day with
the potential for higher end impacts is possible. Make sure and
check later forecasts and outlooks for updates.
