This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Very high to extreme grassfire danger will impact central and
south-central Kansas today, due to warm temperatures, breezy south
to southwest winds, and low humidity.

A few isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible this evening
over central and north-central Kansas. Strong or severe storms are
not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Very high to extreme grassfire danger will impact central and
south-central Kansas Monday through Tuesday or Wednesday, as strong
and gusty south to southwest winds overlap warm temperatures and
low humidity.

Thunderstorm chances increase across the region Monday evening and
night. Some of these thunderstorms could be severe, with higher-end
severe weather possible. Uncertainty remains on the overall location
and evolution of Monday evening`s greatest severe weather
potential. Stay tuned, as forecast details are refined this weekend.
