Below normal temperatures prevailed across the region today. Much
of western Kansas experienced cloudy conditions while some
sunshine occurred over southeast Kansas. With light northeast
winds, afternoon highs topped out in the mid and upper 40s over
northwest Kansas while those in far southeast Kansas saw highs in
the mid and upper 60s.

Light rain showers may expand eastward over parts of western and
central Kansas tonight. Some wet snow may mix in over far
northwest Kansas. Low temperatures will fall into the upper 20s
and lower 30s over the high plains of western Kansas while those
in central and eastern Kansas see lows in the upper 30s and lower
40s.

A cool and cloudy day is expected over the region on Saturday.
Some light rain showers will linger for parts of central and
western Kansas with some wet snow remaining possible in far
northwest Kansas. Highs may struggle to climb out of the 30s in
far northwest Kansas while those in southeast Kansas see highs in
the low 60s.
