...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL FLORENCE...
SOUTHWESTERN DILLON...EAST CENTRAL DARLINGTON...NORTHWESTERN MARION
AND SOUTHERN MARLBORO COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM EDT...

At 807 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking two strong thunderstorms
extending from near Mars Bluff to near Evergreen. Movement was east
at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Florence, Dillon, Latta, Pamplico, Quinby, Sellers, Blue Brick,
Hyman, Mars Bluff, Effingham, Oak Grove, Francis Marion University,
Claussen, Evergreen, Carolinas Hospital System, Mcleod Regional
Medical Center, Carolinas Hospital System - Cedar Tower, and Health
South Rehabilitation Hospital.

This includes Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers
169 and 187.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
