Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
419 AM CDT Sun Apr 21 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Cool and dry weather will be seen through most of Monday. West
winds will become northwesterly later today, with speeds between
10-15 mph. Although winds won`t be quite as breezy today, deep
mixing will support good to very good vent rates by this
afternoon. Winds turn to the southwest and increase in speed for
the start of the new week. Shower and storm chances return late
Monday night into Tuesday ahead of an approaching cold front.
