...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CDT
FOR NORTH CENTRAL PECOS COUNTY...

At 343 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fort Stockton,
moving east at 40 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR FORT STOCKTON AND I-10.

HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
         Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
         siding, and vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Stockton, Fort Stockton-Pecos County Airport, and Firestone Test
Track.

This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 248 and 288.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southwestern
Texas.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
