Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak subtropical ridge dominates the Gulf of Mexico.
Moderate to fresh easterly winds are forecast for the SE Gulf
waters through midweek, decreasing to moderate speeds for the
remainder of the forecast period.

.TODAY...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.WED...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.WED NIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.THU...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.
.THU NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon.
.SAT NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak subtropical ridge will maintain moderate to
fresh easterly winds through midweek. Winds will decrease to
mainly moderate speeds for the remainder of the forecast period.

4 ft in the afternoon.
