.DISCUSSION...A slow-moving upper level system will bring scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms to the burn area today. Radar
indicates a shower over the burn area currently, with more showers
moving into the Black Hills region from the north this morning. The
exact timing showers/storms will develop and/or move over the burn
area is uncertain, as the showers will be transient and the storms
will be isolated. However, the heaviest rain will stay to the east,
and only a few hundredths of moisture is expected over the burn area
today. Severe weather is not expected. Chances for precipitation will
decrease after 9 PM or so, but then increase again Saturday afternoon.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (80-90 percent). Scattered rain
                    showers through the day. Isolated thunderstorms
                    this afternoon.
Max temperature.....Around 62.
Min humidity........49 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Light and variable winds late this morning,
                    becoming north 10 to 15 mph by noon, increasing
                    to 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around
                    30 mph this afternoon. Gusty and erratic winds
                    expected near any showers or thunderstorms.

Haines Index........2 or very low potential for large plume
                    dominated fire growth.
