The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas
  for...
  Southeastern Lincoln County in central New Mexico...

* Until 330 PM MDT.

* At 125 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in
  the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

* Flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
  Lincoln County. This includes streams and arroyos around Alamo
  Canyon and Casey Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In mountainous or hilly terrain there are numerous low water
crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not
attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.

The heavy rainfall and slow movement of these storms may result in
flooding of road intersections and low lying areas. Waters may begin
to run in normally dry arroyos.
