.DISCUSSION...
Significant fire weather concerns are not expected in the region
through Monday. Today should feature the lowest relative humidity
values of the week. Expect afternoon minimums to be between 25
and 35 percent between 2 PM and 6 PM today. Winds today will be
light (4 to 8 mph) from the northwest. Calm winds will return
tonight. Monday will see a surge in humidity (minimum values between
50 and 75 percent) and the return of scattered rain showers.
Wetting rainfall (amounts between 0.01 and 0.35 inches) are
expected by Sunset Monday evening. Sustained southeasterly winds
between 8 and 14 mph are expected on Monday. Mixing heights should
be in the 5000-6000 ft range today and transport winds will be
near 10 mph. Stronger transport winds (over 15 mph) and low mixing
heights (1000-2000 ft) are anticipate on Monday.
