.DISCUSSION...
Storm systems affecting western and north central Nebraska
tonight, Saturday and Thursday and Friday next week are expected
to produce rainfall and snow water totals of up to 1/2 inch in
many areas. Locally higher amounts are likely Thursday.

There are no fire weather concerns during the next 7 days.
Green-up of cool season grasses continues. The next opportunity
for wild fire development could be with the approach of a storm
system Thursday. Dry south winds are expected across southwest
Nebraska and thunderstorms are possible Thursday evening and
overnight across much of western and north central Nebraska.
