.DISCUSSION...
Cooler with gusty westerly winds in the mountains and deserts
through Friday night. A deep marine layer could generate drizzle
or light rain from the coast to mountains tonight into Friday
morning and again Friday afternoon and evening. Warmer and drier
for the weekend through early next week. High temperatures early
next week will be 3 to 7 degrees above average. Winds will be
lighter and the marine layer will become shallower. The forecast
becomes more uncertain for the middle to end of next week. This
will influence the depth of the marine layer and the high
temperature forecast. There is a potential for another round of
cooling and a marine layer that is deep enough to reach to the
coastal mountain slopes.
