This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible across
area. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to
take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...Heat index 102-107 degrees across western and
northern urban and coastal areas of Puerto Rico. Heat exhaustion
possible with prolonged exposure.

.Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution across
offshore Atlantic waters.

.Rip Currents...Low risk of rip currents throughout the day.
However, a weak northerly swell could promote life- threatening
rip currents in the northern surf zones starting tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A wet and unstable weather pattern will persist through at least
end of the workweek. This setup will promote thunderstorms and
excessive rainfall across the area. Limited excessive heat is
possible tomorrow across north central municipalities. Choppy
marine conditions expected through Friday. Then, deteriorating
marine and coastal conditions expected by late this weekend into
early next week.

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.

the local waters, some possibly brushing the islands. Be aware of
thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas. Urban and small streams flooding is possible.

.Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution across
offshore Atlantic waters.

.Rip Currents...Low risk of rip currents throughout the day.
However, a weak northerly swell could promote life- threatening
rip currents in the northern surf zones starting tonight.
