Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through
Wednesday night across much of the Northern Plains. Some storms
may be severe across eastern Montana, the Dakotas, and western
Minnesota on Wednesday. Heavy rainfall, large hail, gusty winds in
excess of 60 mph, and frequent lightning will be the main threats
within stronger storms.

The severe threat shifts east on Thursday, with the eastern
Dakotas and much of Minnesota being the most likely areas to
experience severe weather.

Expect well above average temperatures across the region through
Sunday, with most areas warming up into the upper 80s to lower 90s
this weekend.
