western and southern parts of the region, and in the upper 50s in
the northeast.

Dry conditions and warming temperatures are then expected through
the weekend, with highs Saturday and Sunday in the 70s and near
80. Increasing chances for precipitation return to the region
Sunday night, with temperatures returning to below seasonal
averages by the middle of next week.
