...A WINTER STORM CONTINUES TO IMPACT WESTERN AND CENTRAL NORTH
DAKOTA...

Early this Sunday morning, the center of low pressure, a Colorado
low, was over northeast Colorado. The storm was influencing the
weather through the central part of the United States. At the same
time a high pressure ridge extended through the southern Canadian
Prairies.

This Colorado Low is weaker than earlier predicted, and its track
will be more east, across Kansas and Nebraska, rather than
northeast, toward North Dakota. Because the storm is weaker and
tracking farther to the south of North Dakota, the expected snow
totals for most areas of western and central North Dakota will be
on the lower end of the range that was earlier forecast. The storm
will still be impactful, with snow, and blowing and drifting
snow, and gusty winds, but the impacts will not be as great as
earlier thought. The biggest impacts from this storm will be to
our south and our east.

Keep up to date on the storm at www.weather.gov/bis. And, keep up
to date on road conditions at travel.dot.nd.gov.
