Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
420 AM EDT Mon May 6 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected again today.
Slight drier air will push into the area mid-week, but moisture
remaining over the area will allow isolated showers and storms
to still be possible in the afternoon and evening. A stronger
low pressure system approaches the area Thursday with widespread
showers and storms expected once again. Drier conditions then
return for next weekend.

Fog potential: Patchy fog possible.
