.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible late this
afternoon and evening across far North Georgia with more widespread
activity moving in overnight continuing through early Thursday ahead
of an approaching cold front. Strong to severe thunderstorms will be
possible overnight through Thursday night. Damaging winds will be
the primary threat.
RH values this afternoon currently sit in the 50s across much of
Central Georgia and 60 to 75 percent range across North GA. Not much
deviation is expected through the the evening. With increasing rain
chances going into Thursday, RH values will range 55 to 70 percent.
Winds will remain out of the SSW/SW through Thursday 7 to 14 MPH
with wind gusts nearing 25 MPH during the afternoon Thursday.
