298 FZUS63 KDTX 111354 GLFLH Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 954 AM EDT Sat May 11 2024 For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.50 inches, tracks through the Great Lakes today bringing an uptick in winds and several rounds of rain, including a few thunderstorms. High pressure briefly builds into the area Sunday morning before a second system arrives Sunday evening bringing some showers and storms. A stationary front then settles over the Great Lake early next week offering additional opportunities for thunderstorms.
