...A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for portions of the area
Tuesday from 11 AM to 7 PM MDT..
.Discussion...
Very low humidity values, along with northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph
with gusts to around 55, will result in critical fire weather
conditions once again for tomorrow along the southern I-25
corridor and areas to the east. Otherwise, it will be very windy
everywhere tomorrow as strong northwesterly winds develop behind a
departing area of low pressure which will push into western Kansas
tomorrow. Spotty critical fire weather conditions will remain
possible over parts of the district on Wednesday as low humidity
and gusty winds remain over the district. Cooler weather is expected
to move into the region on Thursday.
Smoke dispersion is expected to be good to excellent across the
area Tuesday and Wednesday.
